[١٣٦٠/ ١٣٦٨] (س ق) حصين بن مالك بن الخشخاش - بالمعجمات - وهو حُصين بن أبي الحر، التميمي العنبري البصري أبو القُلُوص، تابعي، وهو جد عُبيد الله بن زياد العنبري القاضي، لأبيه، وجده، وعميه قيس وعُبيد، وفادة على النبي ﷺ. عن: جده، وعمران بن حصين، وسمرة بن جندب، وغيرهم. وعنه: ابنه حسن، وعبد الملك بن عُمير، ويونس بن عبيد، وآخرون. قال عَمرو بن عاصم الكلابي: ولي مَيْسان لعمر، وبقي حتى أدرك الحجاج فسجنه حتى مات. وثقه أبو حاتم، وغيره. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات". وذكره في "الميزان" تمييزًا، وقال فيه: وثقه أبو حاتم، يعني: ابن أبي الحر.
