[١٠٠٠/ ٩٨٩] (سى) الجُلاس - بضم الجيم، وتخفيف اللام. عن: عثمان بن شماس. وعنه: شعبة، وغيره، والصواب: أبو الجُلاس كما قاله عبد الوارث عنه، وسيأتي في عقبة بن سيار. وكذا ذكره ابن حبان في عقبة بن سيار، وكناه بأبي الجُلاس. وكذا ذكره في "التهذيب" في الكنى، وقال: عقبة بن سيار أو سنان، وذكره في الأسماء مطولًا في عقبة بن سيار، أو سنان، أبو الجلاس الشامي، وسيأتي في الأسماء - إن شاء الله تعالى وقدره. * * *
