[٩٦٨/ ٩٥٢] (ت) جعفر بن محمد بن الفُضيل الرَّسْعَنيُّ أبو الفضل الحافظ. عن: مؤمَّل بن إسماعيل، ومحمد بن حمير الحمصي، ومحمد بن سليمان بُومة، وسعيد بن أبي مريم، وخلق. وعنه: (ت) ومحمد بن محمد الباغندي، وأبو يعلى، وعبدان، وخلق. قال (س): ليس بالقوي، ووثقه غيره منهم: ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وقال: مستقيم الحديث. وذكره في "الميزان"، فقال: وثق، ثم ذكر كلام النسائي، ثم ابن حبان.
