[٧٠٠] (تمييز) بسام بن يزيد البقال (*)، أبو الحسين، من أهل البصرة. يروي عن: حماد بن سلمة. روى عنه: أهل العراق. ذكره ابن حبان في "ثقاته". وذكره في "الميزان"، فقال: قال الأزدي: تُكلم فيه، ثم قال: (قلت): هو وسط فى الرواية. انتهى (¬٢).
