[٥٤٢/ ٥٠٦] (ع) الأسود بن قيس العبدي، وقيل: البجلي، الكوفي. عن: جُنْدَبْ بن عبد الله، وثعلبة بن عباد - بكسر العين، وبالموحدة المخففة جمع عبد (¬١) - وسعيد بن عمر بن سعيد، وجماعة. وعنه: شعبة، والسفيانان، وزُهير بن معاوية، وأبو عوانة، وعَبِيدة - بفتح العين، وكسر الموحدة - ابن حُميد- بضم الحاء. وطائفة. وثقه (س)، وغيره، وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، ونسبه البجلي.
