[٥٢٨/ ٤٩٣] (ق) إسماعيل بن يحيى الشيباني. عن: أبي سنان ضرار بن مرة، وعبد الله بن عمر العمري. وعنه: إبراهيم بن أعين، وصالح بن حرب. قال ابن حبان: لا تحل الرواية عنه، وسيأتي ما في ذلك قريبًا جدًا وكذبه يزيد بن هارون، وذكره في "الميزان"، وذكر فيه كلام يزيد، وكلام ابن حبان، ثم قال: ذكره عن ابن حبان ابن الجوزي قال: ولم أره. وذكره العقيلي، فقال: لا يتابع على حديثه يقال له الشعيري.
