[٥٠٠/ ٤٦٤] (د ت ق) إسماعيل بن عبد الملك بن أبى الصغيراء الأسدى المكي. عن: سعيد بن جبير، وابن أبي مُليكة، وعطاء. وجماعة. وعنه: الثورى، ووكيع، وعبيد الله بن موسى، وأبو نُعيم، وآخرون. قال ابن المديني، عن يحيى بن سعيد: تركتُ إسماعيلَ، ثم كتبتُ عن ابن عيينة عنه. وقال ابن معين: ليس بالقوى. وكذا قال أبو حاتم. وقال (خ): يكتبُ حديثه. وذكره في "الميزان"، فقال: قال أبو حاتم، وابنُ معين: ليس بالقوى، ووهاه ابن مهدى. وقد ذكر له فى "الميزان" حديثًا كأنه استنكره عليه. والله أعلم.
