[٢٩٧/ ٢٨٤] (د ق) أحمد بن جَزْءٍ. ويقال: ابن سواء بن جَزْء، وقيل: شهاب بدل سواء، السدوسي وقال ابن حبان: وقد قيل: إنه أحمر بن معاوية انتهى.وجزء، قال الأمير: بكسر الجيم يقوله أصحاب الحديث، قاله الدارقطني، وقال الخطيب: بسكون الزاي، ولم يذكر حركة الجيم. وقال عبد الغني: بفتح الجيم وكسر الزاي، فهو فلان، وفلان إلى أن أحمر بن جزي السدوسي حدث عن: النبي ﷺ، سمع منه: الحسن البصري. انتهى. له حديث واحد في (د) (ق) في السجود، وقد رواه أحمد في المسند. قيل: لم يرو عنه غير الحسن، ولم يرو عنه غير هذا الحديث في السجود، وكنيته أبو جَز.
