[١٢١/ ١١١] (م) أحمد بن المنذر بن الجارود البصرى، أبو بكر القزاز عن: أبي أسامة، وابن أبي فُديك، وزيد بن الحباب، وجماعة. وعنه: (م)، وعبد الله بن أحمد الدورقى، وإبراهيم بن فهد الساجي، وغيرهم. صحيح الحديث، قال في "الميزان": قال أبو حاتم: لا أعرفه يروى عن حماد بن مسعدة، محله الصدق. انتهى. وقد راجعتُ كلام أبي حاتم فرأيت ولده ابن أبي حاتم، قال: سألت أبي عنه، فقال: لا أعرفه، وعرضت عليه حديثه، فقال: حديثه صحيح. انتهى.
