٥٧٥ - يوسف بن عبد الغالب بن هلال الإسكندراني العلَّاف (¬١). كان عامِّيًا، ولكن خُصّ بالنظم الظريف، والمنزع اللطيف. كتب عنه جماعة من الفضلاء. وأنشدني عنه بعض الإسكندرانيين، قوله في الحشيشة: شعر وخضراءَ لا الحمراءُ تفعل فعلها … لها وثَبَاتٌ في الحشا وثباتُ تؤجِّجُ نارًا في الحشا وهي جنَّةٌ … وتعطيك طعْم المرِّ وهي نباتُ وله أيضًا قوله في حائك: شعر كم قلتُ للحائكِ الظَّريف … وفي راحتِه طاقةٌ يخلِّصها توفي ببلده، في سنة عشرين وسبع مئة، في ما أخبرني به بعض أهل الإسكندرية.
