٤٧٧ - محمد بن محمد بن عبد الله، المنعوت بالبدر، ولد الإمام أبي عبد الله ابن مالك (¬٢). كان فاضلًا، نحويًا، مشاركًا في الفقه على مذهب الشافعي، والأصول، والمنطق، والبيان، وكان ذكي الفطرة، حاد القريحة. تولى الإعادة بالمدرسة الأمينية بدمشق، وجلس في وظيفة والده بعده، وانتفع به، وأخذ عنه أعيان الدماشقة. وصنف تصانيف، منها: "شرح الألفية" (¬٣)، و"شرح العمدة"، و"لامية الأفعال" (¬٤)، من تصانيف والده، وصنف في البيان كتابًا سماه "المصباح" (¬٥). وما زال يصنف ويفيد حتى أتاه أجله الذي ليس عنه محيد، في يوم الأربعاء ثامن المحرم، سنة ست وثمانين وست مئة بدمشق، عفا الله عنه.
