    ٢٢٩ - وكان ابنه محيي الدين يحيى (¬١) لطيفًا ظريفًا، غاية في الكرم. لم تر عيني أكرم منه، عزيز النَّفس، يحفظ من النظم والنثر كثيرًا. وله بعض نظم، ووُزِّر باليمن، وكان له حظٌّ عند السلطان الملك الناصر بمصر.وكان محبوبًا عند الخاصَّة والعامَّة، صحب جماعة من الصالحين، وكان جماعة من أصحابه يلومونه على كثرة العطايا والنفقة، فيقول: قال لي جماعة ممن لهم كَشْفٌ: تموت سعيدًا. توفي بمصر، سنة ثلاث وعشرين وسبع مئة، وسنّه ست وأربعون سنة ظَنًّا، ﵀ رحمة واسعةً.
