١٢٧ - الحسن بن محمد بن إسماعيل القَيلوي النّيلي، المكنّى بأبي علي (¬١). كان أديبًا فاضلًا، عارفًا بالكتب. حدث عن أبي حفص ابن طبرزد، وعن الأبله الشاعر، وغيرهما. كتب عنه الحافظ المنذري، وقال: سألته عن مولده فقال: في شهر ربيع الأول، أو قال الآخر، سنة أربع وستين وخمس مئة (¬٢). وتوفي بدمشق، ثاني عشرين ذي القعدة، سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وست مئة. وهو منسوب إلى قَيلويَة بأرض بابل، وليس من قيلوية النهروان، ولا من قيلوية التي من قرى نهر الملك. والنيل هذا نهر، وهو بأرض بابل، والنيل غير هذا أيضًا.
