٣٧٥ - علىّ بن عمر بن عبد اللّه بن موسى بن محمود بن حاجى، علاء الدين بن ركن الدين بن جمال الدين التركماني المرجىّ نسبة إلى المرج (¬٤) -بفتح الميم وإسكان المهملة وجيم-بليدة بين الخانكة والقاهرة، الحنفىّ الشهير بابن الصوفي؛ لأن جده جمال الدين كان سالكا طريق الصوفية. ولد بعد سنة تسعين-بالفوقانية أوله-وسبعمائة (¬٥) بالمرج، وقرأ بها القرآن، وتلا برواية أبى عمرو، على الشمس الزراتيتى بالقاهرة، ودخل دمياط والإسكندرية والصعيد،وحضر مجلس السراج البلقيني. وأجازت له عائشة بنت عبد الهادي-وهي في ترجمة إبراهيم المنصوري. لقيته في رجب سنة ست وأربعين وأجاز باستدعائى وشافهنى.
