٢٣١ - [زينب] (¬١) بنت عبد الله بن أسعد بن علي بن سليمان بن فلاح اليافعي اليمني ثم المكي، أم المساكين بنت الإمام العلامة الزاهد القدوة عفيف الدين الناظم الناثر شيخ الحجاز وعالمه وصالحه. ولدت في جمادى الأولى سنة ثمان وستين وسبعمائة بمكة (¬٢)، أجاز لها الصلاح محمد بن أبي عمر، وأبو حفص ابن أميلة، والكمال محمد بن حبيب، والزين ابن المغازي، والحافظ بهاء الدين ابن خليل، والسبكي والإسنائي. [وماتت في مغرب ليلة الخميس سابع جمادى الأولى سنة ست وأربعين وثمانمائة بمكة، وصلّى عليها من الغد بعد صلاة الصبح عند باب الكعبة ودفنت بالمعلاة] (¬٣)
