    ١٤٢ - أبو بكر بن علي بن حجّة (¬٣١٩) الحموي الحنفي، الإمام العالم الأديب البارع رأس أدباء العصر وأعرفهم بفنون الشعر سوى شيخنا أستاذ العصر. ولد (¬٣٢٠) [سنة ٧٦٧] وتوفى (¬٣٢١) ليلة الثلاثاء خامس عشرى شعبان سنة سبع وثلاثين وثمانمائة بحماة، ورأيته بحماة في رحلتي سنة ست وثلاثين ولم يتفق لي الاجتماع به، وأجازنى باستدعاء النجم بن فهد لمّا رحل إلى تلك الديار بعد توجّهى منها.
