٥١ - أحمد بن محمد بن أبي بكر بن سليمان الهيثمي ، شهاب الدين، ابن أخي الحافظ نور الدين، العدل بباب حبس (¬٤٧٢) الرحبة. ولد سنة ثمان وسبعين وسبعمائة، وأجاز باستدعائى، وقرأت عليه. سمع الثاني من مصافحات النجيب كما في أخيه عبد العزيز، وسمع مشيخة إبراهيم بن سعد الزهري على الشيوخ الخمسة: والده وعمّه والزين العراقي والبرهان الإنباسى والزين عبد الرحمن العزى بن الشيخة. توفى يوم الثلاثاء سادس أو سابع ذي الحجة سنة أربعين وثمانمائة بالقاهرة. وصلّى عليه شيخ الإسلام ابن حجر في [مصلّى] باب النصر، ودفن من ذلك اليوم بالصّحراء.
