٢٠ - أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن حمدان بن حميد (بالتكبير) شهاب الدين العبتاوى (¬٢٠٦) (بفتح المهملة وسكون الموحدة ثم مثناة فوق) نسبة إلى قرية عبتا من جبل نابلس، الصالحي، العدل بها بقرب الجامع المظفري (¬٢٠٧)، أخو إبراهيم الآتي (¬٢٠٨).ولد سنة ست وسبعين (¬٢٠٩) وسبعمائة ظنا، وسمع الحافظ أبا بكر بن عبد الله بن المحب الصامت وموسى بن عبد الله بن موسى المرداوى وأبا الهول. أجازنى باستدعاء ابن فهد.
