٦ - أحمد بن أبي بكر بن علي بن إسماعيل، شهاب الدين ، الشيخ الصالح الشهير بابن شيخ السوق الحنبلي، بن الرسام الحموي، قاضى حلب. ولد تقريبا سنة ثلاث وستين (¬٥٥) وسبعمائة، وسمع جماعة، واشتغل بالعلم حتى أذن له بالإفتاء وصنّف، وولى قضاء حلب واستمر بها مدة، وكان يعمل الميعاد. وطبقته في العلم متوسطة في أدناها.أجاز باستدعائى بحلب، وقرأت عليه «معجم الذهبي» اللطيف. أنبأنا قاضى حماة: الشهاب أحمد بن عبد الرحمن المرداوى (¬٥٦)، أنبأنا الحافظ شمس الدين بن محمد بن عثمان الذهبي، فذكره.
