    [٦٧٦] علي بن رستم بن المطيار أبو الحسن الأصبهاني الطهراني عم أبي علي بن رستم. حدث عن: أحمد بن معاوية بن الهذيل، ولوين، ومحمد بن جبر، وعقيل، ومحمد بن الوليد السري، وابن أبي شيبة، والحسن بن علي العامري، وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو القاسم الطبراني في "المعجمين"، وأبو الشيخ، وعبد الله والد أبي نعيم الأصبهاني، وأبو بكر بن المقرئ. قال أبو الشيخ: كان ثبتا متقنا يجتمع عنده الحفاظ في مسجد الجامع فيتذاكرون عنده في مجلسه. مات سنة ثلاث وثلاثمائة. - طبقات أصبهان (٣/ ٥٥٣)، أخبار أصبهان (٢/ ١٠)، الأنساب (٤/ ٦٢)، تاريخالإسلام (٢٣/ ١٢٣). * قلت: (ثقة ثبت).
