    ٢٤٤٦ - سالف بن عثمان بن عامر بن معتب (¬٥). (مو). قيل: لما قدم وفد ثقيف على النبي ﷺ سألوه أن يتركهم على دينهم ويوادعهم. فقال: أبى الله ﷿ ذلك ثم أسلموا، فلما أسلم وفد ثقيف استعمل رسول الله ﷺ عليهم من الأحلاف سالف بن عثمان بن عامر بن معتب على صدقة ثقيف.
