    ٢٤٥٩- ذو خيوان الهمدانيّ اليماني «٣» : اسمه: [عك.روى حديثه البزّار، وعبدان، من طريق مجالد، عن الشعبي، عن عامر بن شهر، قال: أسلم] «١» عك ذو خيوان فقيل له: انطلق إلى النبيّ ﵌ فخذ منه الأمان. فقدم عليه فقال: يا رسول اللَّه، إن مالك بن مرارة قدم علينا يدعو إلى الإسلام، فأسلمنا ولي أرض فيها رقيق فاكتب لي كتابا. فكتب له وإسناده ضعيف. وقد رواه أبو يعلى مطوّلا، وتأتي الإشارة إليه في ترجمة عامر بن شهر.
