    ٦٠٩٧ - عثمان بن الحسين بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمّد بن عبد الله بن أحمد، التّميميّ أبو الحسن الخرقي (¬٣): حدث بمصر ودمشق عن جعفر الفريابي، وقاسم بن زكريا المطرّز، وأحمد بن الحسن بن عبد الجبّار الصّوفيّ، وعبد الله بن محمّد البغوي، ومكي بن عبدان النّيسابوريّ. روى عنه القاضي أبو نصر محمّد بن أحمد بن هارون، وعبد الوهّاب ابن عبد الله المرّي الدمشقيان أحاديث تدل على ثقته. وقرأت بخط أبي الفتح بن مسرور، حدّثنا عثمان بن الحسين البغداديّ المعروف بابن الخرقي في سنة سبع وخمسين وثلاثمائة. وسألته عن مولده فقال: ولدت في سنة ثمان وثمانين ومائتين ببغداد في درب سليمان، وكان ثقة مأمونا.
