٦٠٣٩ - عمر بن عبد الله بن عمر بن تعويذ، أبو حفص الدّلّال (¬٢): رأى أبا بكر الشبلي وحكى عنه. حدثني أبو الفرج بن الواسطية الصّوفيّ، وأبو الفضل بن المهديّ الخطيب. أخبرني أبو الفضل محمّد بن عبد العزيز بن العبّاس بن المهديّ الهاشميّ، حدّثنا أبو حفص عمر بن عبد الله بن عمر بن تعويذ الدّلّال قال: رأيت الشبلي يوما وهو ينفض بيده في كمه ويقول:وقد كان شيء يسمى السرو … ر قديما سمعنا به ما فعل؟ خليلي إن دام هم النفو … س على ما نراه قليلا قتل مؤمل دنيا لتبقى له … فمات المؤمل قبل الأمل قال لي ابن المهديّ: مات عمر بن تعويذ في سنة خمس عشرة وأربعمائة.
