٥٥٨٨ - عبد الملك بن أحمد بن عبد الرّحمن بن أبي حمزة، أبو العبّاس الزّيّات: سمع الحسن بن عرفة، وحفص بن عمرو الربالي، والقاسم بن محمّد بن عباد المهلبي، والحسن بن أبي الرّبيع الجرجانيّ، وأحمد بن عبد الجبّار العطاردي. روى عنه الدّارقطنيّ، وابن شاهين، ومحمّد بن علي بن الفضل بن نجاح، وأبو الفضل محمّد ابن الحسن بن المأمون، وأحمد بن محمّد بن العبّاس الأخباري، وابن الثّلّاج، وكان ثقة. أخبرنا السّمسار، أخبرنا الصّفّار، حدّثنا ابن قانع: أن عبد الملك بن الزّيّات- هكذا في الكتاب- والصواب: أن عبد الملك الزّيّات مات في جمادى الأولى من سنة ثلاثين وثلاثمائة. وكذا ذكر ابن الثّلّاج فيما قرأت بخطه.
