    ٤٧٣٤ - سهل بن أحمد بن عثمان، أبو حميد الطّبريّ: قدم بغداد وحدّث بها عن أحمد بن محمّد بن ياسين الهرويّ، وعبد الرّحمن بن عبد الله بن حبيب. روى عنه محمّد بن إسحاق القطيعي، وأبو القاسم بن الثلاج، وذكر أنه سمع منه في درب سليمان. أخبرنا القاضي أبو العلاء الواسطيّ، حدّثنا محمّد بن إسحاق القطيعي، حدّثنا أبو حميد سهل بن أحمد بن عثمان الطّبريّ، حدّثنا عبد الرّحمن بن عبد الله بن حبيب، حدّثنا أبو بشر الصّفّار، حدّثنا عليّ بن الحسن الرّازيّ، حدّثنا الصباح بن محارب، عن أبي حنيفة أنه قال ذات يوم: ألا تعجبون؟! مررت على مسعر وهو يحدث عن قتادة عن أنس أن النبي ﷺ أعتق صفية، وجعل عتقها صداقها.
