٤٦٢١ - سليمان بن سفيان، الجهني المدائني (¬١): حدّث عن ورقاء بن عمر، وقيس بن الرّبيع. روى عنه زكريّا بن يحيى بن أيّوب المدائني. أخبرنا أبو عمر عبد الواحد بن محمّد بن عبد الله بن مهديّ، أخبرنا محمّد بن مخلد العطّار قال: حدّثني أبو جعفر محمّد بن عليّ بن بسام المعروف بمعدان، حدّثنا زكريّا بن يحيى، حدّثنا سليمان بن سفيان الجهني- مدائني- حدّثنا ورقاء عن مالك عن سمى عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة قال: «بئس الطعام طعام الوليمة، ومن لم يجب فقد عصى الله ورسوله» (¬٢).
