٤٠٩٨ - الحسين بن خير بن عبد الله، أبو عليّ الخوارزميّ: حدّث ببغداد عن زكريّا بن يحيى زحمويه، وغيره. روى عنه محمّد بن مخلد، ومحمّد بن العبّاس بن نجيح، إلّا أن ابن مخلد سماه الحسن، وقد ذكرناه فيما تقدم.أخبرنا محمّد بن الحسين القطّان، أخبرنا محمّد بن العبّاس بن نجيح، حدّثنا الحسين بن خير، حدّثنا حفص بن عمر، حدّثنا عصمة بن المتوكل قال: سمعت شعبة يحدّث عن أيّوب السختياني عن محمّد بن سيرين عن أبي عبيدة قال: قال علي: اقضوا ما كنتم تقضون فإني أكره الاختلاف حتى يكون للناس جماعة، أو أموت كما مات أصحابي.
