٤٠٨٧ - الحسين بن حبّان بن عمّار بن الحكم بن عمّار بن واقد، أبو عليّ- صاحب يحيى بن معين-: كان من أهل الفضل، والتقدم في العلم، وله عن يحيى كتاب غزير الفائدة. روى عنه ابنه عليّ بن الحسين ذلك الكتاب عن أبيه وجادة. والحسين بن حبّان قديم الموت توفي فيما ذكر ابنه سنة اثنتين وثلاثين ومائتين بالعسيلة (¬١). وهو ذاهب إلى الحج، وذلك قبل وفاة يحيى بن معين بسنة.
