٣٦٧٩ - جعفر بن محمّد بن سعيد بن حسّان، أبو محمّد السّمّان- ويقال: السّمسار-: حدث عن يوسف بن موسى، ومحمود بن خداش، والفضل بن سهل الأعرج والحسن بن عرفة. روى عنه عبد الله بن إبراهيم الزبيبي، وعلي بن عمر الحربيّ وأبو بكر بن المقرئ الأصبهانيّ. أخبرنا محمّد بن عبد الملك القرشيّ أخبرنا علي بن عمر الحربيّ حدّثنا أبو محمّد جعفر بن محمّد سعيد بن حسّان السمان- في درب الآجر نهر طابق- حدّثنا فضل ابن سهل الأعرج حدّثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن سفيان الثوري. قال: كثرة العيال شؤم، فمن تهيأ لطلب الدنيا فليتهيأ للذل.
