٢٩٥٣ - أحمد بن واصل المقرئ، والد أبي العبّاس (¬١): قرأ على علي بن حمزة الكسائيّ. وروى عنه اليزيدي صاحب أبي عمرو بن العلاء. حدث عنه ابنه أبو العبّاس محمّد، وقيل إن اسمه محمّد بن واصل، واسم أبيه أحمد. وقد ذكرنا ذلك فيما تقدم، والذين قالوا: إن أبا العبّاس هو محمّد بن أحمد بن واصل أكثر، وقولهم أظهر.
