٢٣٣٤ - (¬٣) أحمد بن عبّاد، أبو جعفر، المعروف بحمدون الفرغاني (¬٤): سمع علي بن عاصم، وأبا بدر شجاع بن الوليد، ويعقوب بن إسحاق الحضرمي. روى عنه أبو القاسم عبد الله بن محمّد البغويّ. وهو بحمدون أشهر منه بأحمد، وسنعيد ذكره في باب الحاء إن شاء الله. أخبرنا عبد العزيز بن علي الورّاق، أخبرنا يوسف بن عمر القواس قال: قرئ على عبد الله بن محمّد بن عبد العزيز- وأنا أسمع- قيل له: حدثكم أحمدبن عبّاد، حدّثنا يعقوب الحضرمي، عن شعبة، عن يزيد الرشك، عن معاذة قالت: قلت لعائشة: أكان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي الضحى؟ قالت: نعم أربعا ويزيد ما شاء الله.
