٢٣١٦ - (¬١) أحمد بن عبيد، الخبّاز (¬٢): حدّثني الصوري، أخبرنا عبد الرّحمن بن عمر المصريّ، أخبرنا أبو سعيد أحمد بن محمّد بن زياد، حدّثنا أبو العبّاس أحمد بن جعفر الفرغاني، حدّثنا أحمد بن عبيدالخبّاز البغداديّ، حدّثنا علي بن المديني قال: سمعت يحيى بن سعيد يقول: سمعت سفيان الثوري يقول: دخلت البصرة فرأيت أربعة أئمة، سليمان التيمي، وأيّوب السختياني، وابن عون، ويونس، كل يقول: أبو بكر، وعمر، وعثمان، وعلي. فرجعت عن قولي فقلت كما قالوا أبو بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي. قال أبو سعيد: وكان قوله، أبو بكر وعمر وعلي وعثمان.
