    ٢١٨٤ - أحمد بن سهل، التّميميّ (¬٢): صاحب أبي عبيد القاسم بن سلّام. حدّث عن أبي عبيد، وعن عبد الصّمد بن يزيد مردويه. روى عنه هارون بن يوسف المعروف بابن مقراض وغيره. أخبرنا أحمد بن أبي جعفر القطيعي حدّثنا أبو الحسن على بن محمّد بن سعيد الرّزّاز حدّثنا أبو أحمد هارون بن يوسف حدّثنا أحمد بن سهل التّميمى- صاحب أبي عبيد- حدّثنا عبد الصّمد بن يزيد قال سمعت الفضيل بن عياض يقول: المؤمن يحاسب نفسه ويعلم أن له موقفا بين يدي الله تعالى، والمنافق يغفل نفسه، فرحم الله. عبدا نظر لنفسه قبل نزول ملك الموت به.
