١٩٣٨ - (¬٣) أحمد بن إسماعيل بن عمر، الرواسي (¬٤): أخبرنا على بن أبي على البصريّ قال: قرأنا على الحسين بن هارون الضبي عن أبي العبّاس أحمد بن محمّد بن سعيد. قال أحمد بن إسماعيل بن عمر البغداديّ سمع عفّان بن مسلم، ومعاوية بن عمرو، وأبا الوليد، ومسلم بن إبراهيم، وهذه الطبقة. كتب أصحابنا عنه بالكوفة. سمعت أحمد بن يحيى يقول: حدّثني أحمد بن إسماعيل البغداديّ الرواسي، وليس من بنى رواس- يعنى أنه كبير الرأس.
