٨٠٠ - محمّد بن خشيش، أبو بكر، يعرف بأبي خشّة (¬٢): سمع يحيى بن معين. روى عنه: محمّد بن مخلد. أخبرنا الأزهري، أخبرنا عليّ بن عمر الحافظ، حدّثنا محمّد بن مخلد، حدّثنا أبو بكر بن أبي خشة قال: سمعت يحيى- يعني ابن معين- يقول: عليّ الحناط كان كوفيا وانتقل إلى المدينة وكان خياطا، ترك ذاك وصار حنّاطا، ثم ترك ذاك وصار يبيع الخبط. قرأت في كتاب ابن مخلد: سنة أربع وسبعين ومائتين فيها مات أبو بكر محمّد بن أبي خشة في صفر.
