    ٧٦٠ - محمّد بن حفص بن أبي الجعد، البزّاز، يعرف بمندل بن سندل: حدّث عن عمرو بن عليّ الصّيرفيّ، ومحمّد بن يحيى بن عبد الكريم الأزديّ. روى عنه أبو بكر الشّافعيّ. أخبرنا عبد الغفار بن محمّد المؤدّب قال أنبأنا محمّد بن عبد الله بن إبراهيم قال نبأنا محمّد بن حفص بن أبي الجعد المعروف بابن سندل البزّاز قال نبأنا عمرو بن عليّ قال نبأنا أبو داود قال نبأنا زمعة عن عمرو بن دينار عن جابر. قال قال رسول الله ﷺ: «نعم السحور التمر (¬١)». كر من اسمه محمّد واسم أبيه حمدان
