١٢٠ - محمّد بن أمير المؤمنين القادر بالله: أحمد بن إسحاق بن جعفر المقتدر بالله، يكنى أبا الفضل (¬١): كان أبوه رشحه للخلافة وجعله ولي عهده ولقبه الغالب بالله، ونقش على السكة اسمه، ودعي له في الخطبة بولاية العهد بعده. ثم أدركه أجله فتوفى في شهر رمضان من سنة تسع وأربعمائة، وكان مولده في ليلة الاثنين لسبع بقين من شوال سنة اثنتين وثمانين وثلاثمائة، ودفنبالرصافة في تربة القادر بالله وأهله.
