    محمّد بن عبد الله الطّرابلسيّ الأصل، البعليّ الشّهرة، الدّمشقيّ. قال الكمال الغزّيّ: هو الشّيخ، الصّالح، الصّوفيّ، أبو السّعادات، نظام الدّين.ولد بدمشق سنة ١١٠٤، وقرأ القرآن العظيم على الشّريف ذيب بن أصلان الصّالحي، وطلب العلم فأخذ عن الأستاذ ولازمه الملازمة الأكيدة وحضره في «تفسير البيضاويّ» وغيره، وأجاز له. وتوفّي يوم السّبت ثاني شعبان سنة ١١٧٧، ودفن بالباب الصّغير.
