    شمس الدين العقبلي الأنصاري ...... - ٦٥٧هـ -...... - ١٢٥٩م أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد، العلامة شمس الدين العقبلي الأنصاري البخاري الحنفي. روى عن جده لأمة العلامة الإمام شرف الدين عمر بن محمد بن عمر العقيلي، وبه تفقه وبغيره من الأئمة الحنفية إلى أن برع في الفقه والأصلين والعربية وغير ذَلِكَ، قال الحافظ عبد القادر في طبقات الحنفية كان شيخاً ثبتاً إماماً، انتهى.قلت ومن تأليفه شرح الجامع الصغير للإمام محمد بن الحسن، ونظم الجامع الصغير نظماً حسناً، وكان له إلمام بالأدب، ونظم القريض، توفي ببخارى في الخامس من شهر رمضان سنة سبع وخمسين وستمائة، رحمه الله تعالى.
