ابن شير التركماني المحدث ٦٣٢ - ٦٩٦هـ - ١٢٣٤ - ١٢٩٦م أحمد بن غازي بن علي بن شير، الشيخ الإمام العالم العلامة شهاب الدين التركماني، الحنفي المحدث. مولده سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وستمائة، سمع من الحافظ ضياء الدين وغيره، وحدث، وسمع منه جماعة، وأخذ العلم عن جماعة من العلماء، وبرع في الفقه والأصول والعربية وغير ذَلِكَ، وكتب وجمع ورحل وأفتى ودرس، وكان كبير القدر عظيم الشأن، توفي ثاني عشرين شهر ربيع الآخر سنة ست وتسعين وستمائة، رحمه الله تعالى.
