مجير الدين الخياط الدمشقي الشاعر ٧٣٥هـ، ١٣٣٤م أحمد بن حسن بن محمد، الأديب مجير الدين الخياط الدمشقي الشاعر. كان شاعراً ماهراً، مدح الأكابر والأعيان، وكان حلو المحاضرة، ظريفا، وله ديوان شعر. قال الشيخ صلاح الدين بن أيبك: وكان كثير الدعوى جداً، وشعره غث، ولكن يندر له الجيد، انتهى كلام ابن أيبك باختصار. قلت: توفي سنة خمس وثلاثين وسبعمائة. قلت: ولم يقع لي من شعره إلا اليسير، من ذلك: لا ترفعنّ دنيا ... فرفعه لك خفض ودسه حيث تراه ... بتركه فهو أرض
