ابن الزين الحنفي ٧٣٣هـ، ١٣٣٢م أحمد بن الحسن، الشيخ الإمام العالم البارع شهاب الدين الزركشي الحنفي عرف بابن الزين. كان معدودا من فقهاء الحنفية، درس بالشابية أعاد، وله تواليف من ذلك. كتب شرحا على الهداية، وانتخب شرح الصاغاني، وغير ذلك، وكان له مشاركة جيدة في علوم كثيرة، وتصدر للإقراء والتدريس والإفتاء عدة سنين إلى أن توفي في ثامن عشرين شهر رجب سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وسبعمائة، وقيل في سنة سبع وثلاثين والأول أرجح رحمه الله تعالى.
