    الحلواني الواعظ ٧٩١هـ، ١٣٨٨م إبراهيم بن علي، الشيخ الإمام برهان الدين أبو إسحاق الواعظ الدمشقي الأصل المصري الدار والمنشأ والوفاة، المعروف بالحلواني. كان عنده فضيلة ومشاركة جيدة، ولوعظة تأثير في القلوب، وللناس فيه اعتقاد ومحبة، وكان يميل إلى دين وخير، وكان يعظ الناس ويجتمع عليه خلائق. قال الشيخ تقي الدين المقريزي: توفى بالقاهرة في عاشر صفر سنة إحدى وتسعين وسبعمائة، ولم نر بعده مثله في المواعيد، ﵀.
