برهان الدين الزرعي ٦٨٨ - ٧٤١هـ، ١٢٨٩ - ١٣٤٠م إبراهيم بن أحمد بن هلال، القاضي الإمام المفنن برهان الدين الزرعي الحنبلي. كان إماما فقيها، بصيرا بالفتوى، جيد الإمكان، أتقن فروع مذهبه وأصول الفقه والنحو والفرائض والحساب، وكان يكتب الخط المنسوب المليح إلى الغاية، وكان له قدرة على مناسبات الخطوط وحكاياتها، ويحملون الناس الكتب إليه ليكتب أسماءها لحسن خطه، وناب في الحكم عن القاضي علاء الدين بن المنجا الحنبلي، وولي عدة تداريس ووظائف إلى أن توفي في نصف شهر رجب سنة إحدى وأربعين وسبعمائة، ومولده سنة ثمان وثمانين وستمائة. رحمه الله تعالى.
