قيس الجذامي ولم يثبت أحسبه سكن مصر وروى عن النبي ﷺ وقد خرج أبو خيثمة حديثه في المسند. ١٩٧٤ - أخبرنا عبد الله قال: نا أبو خيثمة قال نا زيد بن عبيد الدمشقي قال نا ابن ثوبان عن أبيه عن مكحول عن كثير بن مرة عن قيس الجذامي وكانت له صحبة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ يعطي الشهيد ست خصال عن أول قطرة: يكفر عنه كل خطيئة ويرى مقعده من الجنة ويزوج من الحور العين ويؤمن من //١٣// الفزع الأكبر ومن عذاب القبر ويحلى حلة الإيمان.
