    عبد الله بن خُبيب الجهني سكن المدينة وروى عن النبي ﷺ أحاديث. ١٦٧٧ - حدثنا أبو موسى هارون بن عبد الله البزاز نا محمد بن الحسن المخزومي حدثني محمد بن جعفر الأنصاري عن زيد بن أسلم عن معاذ بن عبد الله بن خبيب الجهني عن أبيه قال: بينما رسول الله ﷺ في طريق مكة ومعه أصحابه فرفعت علينا ضبابة من [البل حتى //٣٨٧// سرب] بعض القوم فلما أصبحنا قال لي قائل: يا ابن خبيب قل. قلت: ما أقول يا رسول الله؟ قال: " قل أعوذ برب الفلق " قال: فقرأها وقرأتها ثم قال: قل. قلت: ما أقول. قال: " قل أعوذ برب الناس " فقرأها وقرأتها حتى فرغ منها ثم قال: " ما استعاذ أحد بمثل هاتين السورتين.ولا أعلم بهذا الإسناد غير هذا الحديث.
