شهاب بن مالك أحسبه من أهل اليمامة روى عن النبي ﷺ حديثا. ١٢٥٥ - حدثنا أحمد بن إسحاق العسكري قال: حدثني سليمان بن محمد بن شعبة اليمامي قال: حدثني عمارة بن عقبة الحنفي قال: حدثني نفير بن عبد الله بن شهاب بن مالك قال: حدثني جدي شهاب بن مالك: أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ وكان قد وفد إليه وقالت له امرأة يقال لها أم كلثوم: يا رسول الله ألا تسلم علينا؟ فقال: " إنك من قبيل يقللن الكثير ومنعها ما لا يعنيها و [سؤالها] عما لا يعنيها.
