سوادة بن الربيع الجرمي سكن البصرة. ١١٧٨ - حدثنا أبو كامل الجحدري نا محمد بن حمران نا سلم الجرمي عن سوادة بن الربيع قال: رأيت على رسول الله ﷺ خاتما. ١١٧٩ - حدثنا العباس بن محمد وعمي محمد بن علي قالوا: نا مسلم بن إبراهيم نا عبد الله بن يزيد الخثعمي نا سلم بن عبد الرحمن الجرمي عن سوادة بن الربيع قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ بأمي فأمر لها بشاة ثم قال: " مري بنيك أن يقلموا أظفارهم أن يوجعوا أو يغبطوا ضروع مواشيهم //٢٧٧// ومري بنيك أن [يحسنوا أعمالهم].واللفظ لمحمد بن علي.
