ركب المصري سكن الشام ومصر. قال أبو القاسم: بلغني عن إسماعيل بن عياش عن مطعم بن المقدام الصنعاني عن نصيح عن ركب المصري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " طوبي لمن ذل في نفسه وطاب كسبه وصلحت سريرته وكرمت علانيته وعزل عن [الناس] شره طوبى لمن عمل بعلمه وأنفق الفضل من ماله وأمسك الفضل من قوله.قال أبو القاسم: ولا أدري سمع من النبي ﷺ أم لا؟
